Rockets & Secret Weapons
Part 3 concludes the Oberth documentary series and covers Oberth's life after the Second World War – his work in the USA, his belated recognition by the spaceflight community, and his life's work as a pioneer.
Oberth lived to see Apollo 11's Moon landing in 1969, watching his lifelong dream come true. He died in 1989 in Nuremberg – just weeks before the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Histovia Film honours Hermann Oberth's complete body of work, tracing the line from his early theories to the modern space ventures of SpaceX and others – showing that Oberth's ideas remain alive today.
